Farewell to Freddie

Posted by Chalky on Jul 15, 2007 in Church |

Today marked a Farewell to Freddie Takavarasha at Woodseats Methodist Church.

Freddie has been helping Glyn with the After Eight Youth Fellowship for the time he has been at WMC. He has provided an insight to life in Zimbabwe, an insight that has been very valuable. Freddie has a gift for working with Young People and is willing to try anything even if it could lead to something rather embarrassing (the Pants Dance)!

After Eight marked this occasion by having pizza and games. Matt made a cake which, believe it or not, tasted wonderful! It sported Cadbury’s Fredo’s (which are now 15p, how disgusting!) and Freddie’s catchphrase “Go Freddie”. Sophie had prepared a poem, which she performed this evening.

Freddie is moving to Bradford in August to start his ministry. I wish him every success in the future and will miss him a lot.

GO FREDDIE, GO FREDDIE!

Photos from this evening are on my Photo Gallery here.
